August 28, 2022 from 3-5 p.m. | Please join us to celebrate the kick-off of major preservation work at St. Columba’s Chapel. The slate roof that has sheltered our congregation for well over a century is about to be replaced, and the masonry restored. Time for a party!

In the spirit of the chapel's founders, who held an “ice-cream social” to raise funds to build the stone walls, we’ll have a variety of Ben & Jerry’s flavors on hand, along with champagne and lemonade.

You’ll also have the chance to make your name or message or prayer part of the new roof! Sharpies will be available for inscribing the underside of a replacement slate. So come share our gratitude for this gift, and for all those who made it possible.
